Include the IP subnet address and subnet mask of the segment you are attached to.

If you are analyzing a trace file from a different subnet, you must include the subnet number and mask of that subnet BEFORE opening the trace file.

If your segment contains multiple IP subnets, include all subnets and masks. (This is a rare scenario.)

Three examples are given below in the screenshot: a node with the IP address 10.10.10.75 with a 28-bit mask (10.10.10.64) is being analyzed in a  trace file. Therefore, you must enter the subnet 10.10.10.64 to which it belongs. Perhaps a future version of the analyzer will use the PC's DHCP-assigned IP address and mask to automatically calculate and populate the fields.
